Hello, my name is Michael E. Clay. I am not an expert on Polar Bears, nor would I say that I hold any unique fascination with them, aside from the fact that I am aware of their dire situation. It dawned on me suddenly, while looking at an image of a drowning Polar Bear, that this horrific end could be somewhat easily avoided. And, if Global Warming is correlated to our Humanistic actions, it should also be within our Humanistic responsibility, to see forth that our actions should not cause the extinction of another specie. For beyond our grasp of control, lay the delicate balance of nature.
Simply put, I decided that not trying to find a solution, would be an outrage of epic proportions for generations to come. The Polar Rescue Project was soon to follow. The basic concept is this: To transport floating devices and anchor them in Polar Bear swimming/hunting routs, providing for them a resting area.
At this point of the Polar Rescue Project, I am looking for advice and volunteers. People in the Scientific Community are urged to send any suggestions or critiques of this project via our contact page.
Such a simple solution, may help an endangered specie.
